  3. Slide 5:  Ashridge Business School - currently creating the building then looking at different ways of combining with current e-learning for distance students  JISC RSCs in Scotland - developing induction workshops for Second Life which include interactive activities
  4. Slide 6:  Clear purpose to being there  Make it interesting and challenging  Have definite outcomes
  5. Slide 7:  Take a case study  Perhaps a business plan exercise  Lots of information on a piece of paper  Write up your views on how viable this business is and your proposals for moving it forward
  6. Slide 8:  Create the scenario in Second Life  Embed the information into objects  Let the students go and look for the information, think about it and then write up their report
  7. Slide 9:  Using a laboratory  Health and safety  Hygiene in a kitchen  Crime scene analysis
  8. Slide 10:  Give your students a proper induction into Second Life  Don’t make activities too simple  Ask your students for some help – building, scripting, ideas  Be creative, be innovative with Second Life, make it work for you
