    2. Slide 2:Icebergs in the Antarctic area sometimes have stripes, formed by layers of snow that react to different conditions.
    3. Slide 3:Blue stripes are often created when sea water freezes so quickly in a crevice in the ice sheet that no bubbles form.
    4. Slide 4:A green stripe forms when an iceberg falls into algae-rich sea and a layer of water freezes to the underside.
    5. Slide 5:Brown, black and yellow lines are caused by sediment, picked up when the ice sheet grinds downhill towards the sea.
