A sense for absurdity keeps the child in us alive and - ironically - sane. These pix are wonderful examples of how this sense can power imagination and culminate in the creation of works of art that are a joy to watch.

Hoi Wim, thanks for introducing Michael Cheval. I read it now, on the net, the absurd is the essence of his art, with the remark, he creates the absurd but he not ridicule other art works. His art is done with excellence of technique and brilliant imagination.
