  2. Slide 2: The Problem • We are currently polluting earth at an alarming rate • People and governments are not taking enough initiatives to stop the problem • Until recently, the President of the United States and other world leaders still argued that global warming did not exist

Although disasters such as the 1989 Exxon Valdez spill contributed, it is our daily habits and consumption that make up for most of today's pollutants, they include: •On road vehicles •This includes cars, buses and trucks •Non-road vehicles This includes ships, trains and planes ● •Businesses •Area sources ●This includes fireplaces, wood burning stoves, gas stations, spray paint, etc

Here is a list of little things you can do •Turn off the lights when you leave the room •Carpool, take the bus or ride your bike •Recycle •Turn down the heater in the winter and use fans in lieu of air conditioning •Go tree planting •Don’t idle •Reuse your plastic bags If we don’t act fast we may loose it ALL!
