    We all need to remember that Human Rights pertain to all people, regardless of sex, creed, colour, age and include the rights to peace, dignity, privacy, freedom from torture, freedom from war and fear. It is our responsibility to actively do something about unfair tragic situations like these.....

    Dear Ken, yes indeed; heartbreaking scenes as Helga says.

    These brutal conflicts result in tens of thousands of children killed, injured and seriously traumatised, and many many dosplaced families.

    It is the responsibility of those of us in 'comfortable and safe situations' to do whatever we can to actively reach out to them - living as they do most often in poor and conflict ridden countries.

    Thanks for raising the awareness of these ongoing tragic situations!
