Generate buzz is in the wrong place - do your social media audit, get you social media assets together then create the buzz - othewise it fizzles cos they have no place to turn to for more info.

Love this slide! I would like to remix it and use it for a Documentation as Conversation talk I'm giving next week locally, if possible. One comment/observation - another element of time that you mention on the blog entry but isn't easy to extrapolate here is the patience of waiting 3-6 months of consistently putting in the 5 hours a week listening/participating... I'm not sure how to represent that aspect in a single slide, though. Also, is there a difference in the amount of patience you must have for building a platform over time? For example, should you wait a year to see results on a built platform?

Twitter should span across all of these - you can share original content AND through twitter you should constantly work at building your community and network. This is one of the reasons twitter is so useful -- it has the capacity to do so much.
