I wonder why most African leaders dont copy examples from Tanzania and SouthAfrica. I think Leaders should just learn to retire much as we know how sweet it can be being on power. Robert Mugabe for crying out loud is already in his 80z soon getting to 90z, what does he want? Tanzania has one of the best democracies in this world just becuase it is one of the poorest economies in the world, it is not recognized.. Robert Mugabe should learn that leadership comes from GOD en its times for him to give chances to other people. African leaders like Thabo Mbeki and Benjamin WIlliam Mkapa who have proven really icons to Africa should teach Mugabe how things should really go.well, Bobbie, get alive there is also a better life out there even without being on power!

I can't tolerate how such presidents can work to do harm to their countries without consequences. Why do the other countries or foreign armies nothing to help the people of Zimbabwe?

I think that all comments are highly appreciated no matter if they are expressed in any language. Is there any problem with italian, spanish or french? what other language besides english do they speak and read in Zimbabwe? I mean they are the first that could be interested in this issue.
MatFox you dont have all the thruth , people is entitled to their own opinion and to ask for the other side of the story, you can not censor anyone or prevent them for expressing themselves in their own language, get a life ...

Coments and replies in spanish, russian, chinese, french, italian , german and in any other language including english are welcome..

The world must know about this country in crisis and its cause. It is the result of a autocratic regime. I think the best method to avoid these kind of disgrace is to limit the periods of government. Also the United Nations Organization must defend the people governed by this kind of dictators. The presentation is excellent to show us the problem in a easy way. Congratulations DanHrstich. José Arango, Caracas, Venezuela.

Please think about what your own country has been done to help the people in Zimbabwe, before you criticize others.

Only one Robert Mogabe cannot destroy the whole country. I wonder what exactly are behind the cruell reality.

Your presentation has inspired me to write.

There is a past I belong to
I was not a part of
    I did not response
    I did not talk about

    Atrocious acts
    Meaningless deaths
    They were on the news
In a place far, far way
I cried but took no actions
    And soon...they were forgotten

There is a past I belong to
It is back to haunt me
    I am deemed a minority
    A squatter in my homeland
    I have lost my rights
    It's frightening
    They sound so familiar
    Where will this lead to...?

There is a past you belong to
You may not be a part of
There is a need to probe
    Depravity
    Social injustice
    Lest they be forgotten
    And history repeats itself...

Hi everyone, thanks to all those who have shown support. Thanks to the judges who thought that this was the 3rd best. I spent a long time on it. I worked very hard on it and it is nice to get recognition. Maybe I should get a job in design or something?! I am looking forward to contributing more stuff to Slideshare.

    thanks

    Hello everyone,

Thanks for all the kind and constructive comments on my powerpoint presentation. I have made this to make my students interested in what is going on in Zimbabwe. I wanted my students to have some emotional attachment to the plight of the Zimbabwe people. This was used to make analysis easier. (I have demanding students) I want my students to think about why this is such a problem and how it could be solved.

Due to the overwhelming support, I think I will do it for a lot more of my topics.

    thanks

    Dan

I think this a great way to bring about some awareness about the situation in Zimbabwe at the same time, I hope this doesn't simplify and trivialise some of the issues involved. A forum or a discussion around this show would be great actually.

This presentation was effective in getting my attention and quickly helping me understand in a general and basic way the situation in Zimbabwe. I would appreciate it if you shared ideas on how one could lend one's voice to a solution for the people in Zimbabwe. Showing this unbearable situation and people in such dire need without including any suggestions or places to go for more in-depth information loses a valuable opportunity to use the outrage of your audience and its desire to lend a hand. I could, of course, search for info on the Internet, but your influence on my actions would at that point cease.
